AP Testing

The College Board has announced that this school year, students will take their Advanced Placement (AP) exam(s) either in person using a paper/pencil format or at-home digitally, depending on the course. The 2021 FCPS AP Exam schedule including dates, times, and test formats for students is below. AP Teachers have communicated with students regarding the exam format and how to prepare for the AP exams in their specific course(s). Herndon's AP Testing Schedule is here.  AP Testing information from FCPS is available here.

AP Testing Volunteers Needed

Herndon High School will be giving a few AP exams in the building this year as mandated by College Board.  We need a few volunteers to help out with proctoring.  Here is the list of exams that need volunteers and the number of proctors.  Proctors are there to walk around the space (cafeteria or lecture hall) and help out with handing out and counting the tests.  The time involved is usually about 3 hours.   Please contact Betsy Bosworth at @email if you can help.

  • Spanish Language - May 11 - 8 am - Lecture Hall - 1 volunteer needed
  • Calculus AB & BC - May 24 -  8 am - Cafeteria - 3 volunteers needed
  • Physics 1 - May 24 - 12 pm - Lecture Hall - 1 volunteer needed

You cannot volunteer for an exam if your child is taking that exam.

Thank you very much!
