Accepting Applications for 2018-19
The College Partnership Program assists students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education such as first generation, African American, American Indian, Alaskan native, Hispanic, limited English proficient, students with disabilities or economically disadvantaged students who desire to go to college. The CPP application deadline is March 16. CPP is open to current 8th - 11th graders. Students apply online at https://tinyurl.com/CPPapp1819 (You have to be logged into your FCPS student email to access the form). Paper copies are available in the Career Center.
On March 21st, is our College Day assembly for juniors during TA and Stinger 1. We will have a panel of five college admission representatives from The Virginia Tech, Christopher Newport University, Elon University, Northern Virginia Community College, and the University of Delaware, who will discuss important postsecondary planning information. Topics include essay tips, narrowing down your choices, and the do’s and don’ts of college applications.
On March 21st, is our College Night evening program for parents. Program will be from 7 pm to 8 pm in our auditorium and is open to all families.
The Office of Admissions at George Mason University invites your students to join us for the 32nd annual Northern Virginia Regional College Fair (NVRCF)! Your students will have the opportunity to meet with admissions representatives from more than 150 colleges and universities. This will be a great opportunity to get your students motivated and excited about their post-secondary plans while equipping them with the tools and information necessary to successfully navigate the college search and application process.

- Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Location: EagleBank Arena - George Mason University - Fairfax Campus
Students and parents are not required to register prior to the fair. Doors will not be open before 6:30 p.m., so please encourage your students to arrive no earlier than 6:15 p.m. to minimize wait time.
