FISH provides Friendly Instant Sympathetic Help for rent payments, utility bills, and prescription medicine. FISH does not provide food. If you need immediate assistance and live in Herndon or Reston (zip codes 20170, 20171, 20190, 20191, or 20194), please call Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning at 703.222.0880 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A social worker will collect your information and then ask FISH to assist. FISH cannot help without a referral, so to avoid delays, please call the number above rather than calling or emailing FISH directly.
