Dan Coghlan is a native of Herndon, Virginia and received a Bachelor’s in Human Services from Waynesburg University, Pennsylvania. In 2012 he received his Master’s in Education Leadership from American College of Education. Mr. Coghlan is a Herndon High School graduate. For nine years, Mr. Coghlan taught special education at Herndon. As the Assistant Director of Student Activities, Mr. Coghlan works with all of our amazing student athletes.  He is also involved in coaching football. As a Herndon High School graduate, Mr. Coghlan has strong ties to the Herndon community and enjoys impacting the lives of ALL HHS students
