Welcome to Herndon High School, the home of the 'Fighting Hornets'. Our overarching goal as a school is to form positive and lasting relationships with all of you, as well as to help you achieve your academic and not academic goals. We strive to prepare you for life post-high school and know how important it is for all of us to foster your skills of creative and critical thinking, resiliency and global citizenship. Relationship building is a two way street, and we sincerely encourage you to get to know your teachers, school counselors, administrators, and all school support staff; we are all here to help you thrive and have a wonderful high school experience.

Virtual Winter Talent Show
The Class Council of 2023 is proudly organizing a Virtual Winter Talent show open to ALL grade levels for Herndon High School Students. Teachers/staff are welcome too! Submissions can range from musical works to comedy bits, or drama performances to visual art. Whatever your talent is we would love to see it! Please make sure it is school appropriate. Video submissions should range from 30 seconds to 2 and a half minutes. Visual art is also appreciated. Deadline for talent submissions is January 12th. The talent show will go LIVE on January 15, 2021 at 5:30 pm on YouTube. The ticket price of $4 earns a viewer one voting privilege to determine best performs for each grade level and overall best performer. Proceeds will benefit the Class of 2023 Council future activities and events.
