Congratulations to Herndon’s many talented, hard-working athletes who medaled at this past week's State Championships! We are home to THREE State championship titles, many top State finishers and a whole lot of respect!

GILLIAN B, is our STATE CHAMPION in the 3200m run.

NOAH D, is our STATE CHAMPION in the 200m freestyle swim.

THE MENS SWIM RELAY TEAM, is our STATE CHAMPION in the 400m freestyle swim. Noah D, Rian G, Will M, Cooper H and Justin T were the members of this championship team. 

In addition to these State Champions, congrats to the following athletes who went to States:

• Swim - Noah D, 2nd place, Mens 100m freestyle
• Swim - Rian G, 3rd place, Mens 100m Butterfly
• Swim - Mens Relay, 5th place, 200m Freestyle (Noah D, Rian G, Will M, Cooper H and Justin T)
• Track - Danny R, 2nd place High Jump
• Track - Lainey B, 5th place Shot Put
• Track - Girls 4x800 relay team, 9th place. Relay members include Isabella H, Tea G, Valen B and Abigail B
• Wrestling - Alyssa L, 2nd Place finish in 122-127 in the VAWA Girls Folkstyle State Championships
• Wrestling - Alex F, Zach H and Adam H, all Class of 2024, represented Herndon at the State Championships as 3rd place regional finishers.
