Student Services
Vision
With the support of a comprehensive school counseling program, all Herndon High School students will participate in a curriculum that will prepare and motivate them to pursue post-secondary education. Through strategic partnerships among school, family, and community, our students will become successful, life-long learners and productive citizens. With P.R.I.D.E. (Participation, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, and Empathy), students will achieve to their fullest potential and make a positive difference in our school and community.
Mission
The Herndon High School Student Services department will work collaboratively with teachers, families, students, and community members to ensure that all students have equal access to quality instruction. Because all students are capable of success, we will create equity by working with stakeholders to fulfill the academic, career and personal/social needs of our diverse student body, maintain high expectations and accountability, promote ethical values, and prepare students to become productive citizens.
