Library
If you have any Fairfax County Public Schools library books at home, please drop them by the library!
Our Mission
The HHS Library encourages life-long learning, a love of reading, and the ethical and effective use of information through our welcoming, guiding, teaching, learning, reading, thinking, reflecting, creating, searching, researching, purposeful information space.
Need to know
Need a new read but don't have time to get to the library to browse the books? Students can log in to their Destiny Discover account and place books on hold. We will let you know via your FCPSSchools.net email when the books are ready for pickup. Remember that you can get ebooks and e-audiobooks as well as printed books through your Destiny account.
Do you or your siblings still have FCPS library books at home? We can help with that, too! We can take books from any school in the district and get them back to their rightful place.
The Herndon HS Library staff is here every day! You can stop into the library, or reach us by email or phone at 703.810.2309
The Herndon HS Library provides access to databases on a variety of topics and instructional levels. To use the databases, passwords can be found on the Herndon HS Library Schoology course under “Online Resources”. Please contact a member of the library staff if you do not have access or if you have any questions.
